This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills.

Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).
The skills required for these roles may include, but are not restricted to:

  • IT strategy and organisational development: managing and communicating strategic ICT business solutions

All Students MUST

  • Be 18 years of age or over
  • Have completed NSW Higher school Certificate (Year 12) or equivalent

International Students MUST

  • Have Upper Intermediate proficiency in English or an IELTS score of at least 5.5 or equivalent

At the end of the course, the student will have fulfilled the necessary competencies required to gain the ICT60120 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (IT Strategy and Organisational Development).

  • After achieving the ICT60120 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (IT Strategy and Organisational Development), candidates may undertake ICT Vocational Graduate Certificate qualifications or other higher education sector qualifications

This Course is delivered over a period of 52 weeks. Students are required to attend full time study of 20 hours per week consisting of 15 hours face-to-face classroom based tuition and 5 hours of on-line learning.
